Absentee Ballot and In-person Absentee Updates
(Green Bay, WI) The City of Green Bay has almost 52,000 registered voters, has received over 3400 absentee ballots and has processed over 6600 absentee ballot requests.
The clerk’s office returns ballots and ballot certificates to voterswho omit a signature or a witness address. We’ve returned slightly under 100 of these ballots.
Voters may visit www.myvote.wi.gov to track their ballot. The United States Postal Service bar code helps identify when the ballots were mailed from our office and from the voter. When ballots are received by the Clerk’s office, Clerk’s staff scans the bar code on the certificate, which is also communicated to myvote.wi.gov.
Voters should return their absentee ballots via mail by March 31, 2023, or may return them in-person to the Clerk’s office City Hall, 100 N. Jefferson St., Rm 106, in Green Bay, on Election Day, April 4, 2023 by 8 pm, sharp.
In-person absentee voting has been brisk; 488 voters have visited our office. All voters must show a photo ID.
