This is a full-body workout with boxing and body weight exercises all to the beat of the music.
Tai Chi, often referred to as meditation in motion, is a series of slow, continuous movements done with care and attention. Tai chi was originated in China over a thousand years ago and the main theme within its practice is to "let go". Movements are without strain and provide exercise and toning for every part of the body. People of all ages can learn Tai Chi and many benefits can be taken from its practice. These benefits include but are not limit to: improved balance both physically and mentally, increased range of motion, improved concentration, boosting of the Immune System, weight loss, reduced stress levels and improved posture.
Slow flow yoga practice allows a person to become familiar with his or her body, create a reflective pause, and lets the student go inward and feel how the postures unfold in his/her body. Slow Vinyasa Yoga is a therapeutic dance of movement with body awareness and intelligent use of yoga form for healing and growth. Poses unfold with patience and detail for more in-depth understanding of how they work in the body.
Yoga For All Abilities
Yoga for all abilities - a class incorporating basic yoga postures that can be performed by anyone, whether seated on the ground, in a chair, or otherwise adapted for the participants needs. This class will focus on breath work, relaxing postures, and meditation.This class will have a slower pace and structure more like a workshop than a "yoga flow" class suitable for anyone new to yoga or who wants to learn modifications.
