About Scattered Sites- Family Housing Program
The City of Green Bay Housing Authority Properties I (GBHA PROPERTIES I) owns and manages 48 single-family homes/duplexes that consist of 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms. These units range in styles from ranch, two-story, and upper and lower duplexes. The units are also “scattered” throughout the east and west side of Green Bay. All units have a garage or a shed for exterior storage and all units have an unfinished basement. Please know that our units are only located in Green Bay. Unfortunately, we DO NOT offer any urgent/emergency housing assistance.
We have combined our family housing program with the Integrated Community Solutions’ (ICS) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. All 48 Scattered Sites’ homes are now project-based voucher units. Each unit based on bedroom size has its own market based monthly rent rate. Monthly rent rate is determined by a calculation of 30% of the housing participant’s household income. Participants will still pay 30% of their income while the voucher program covers the rest of the rent owed.
