About Mason Manor- Single Individual Housing

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

At this time please know that we are no longer offering vacant units to eligible applicants.  The Mason Manor building will be undergoing major renovation.  We are looking to update all 152 apartments floor by floor. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has approved for the City of Green Bay Housing Authority to hold all vacant units for the use of internally transferring the residents within the building during the renovation.  OUR WAITLIST IS STILL OPEN AND WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS SO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMPLETE AN APPLICATION TO GET YOUR NAME PLACED ON THE WAITLIST!

The City of Green Bay Housing Authority (GBHA) owns and manages this 8 story high rise consisting of 152 units.  Please know that this apartment complex is a SMOKE FREE facility.  The units at Mason Manor are 1 or 2 bedrooms (there are only four 2-bedroom units) and vary in size depending on their location. The east side apartments (smaller units) are 380 square feet and the west side apartments (larger units) are 480 square feet.  All units have a designated, secure storage space (4ft x 6ft storage cage) that is located on the same floor where the resident lives (example: if a person lives on the 4th floor then his/her storage cage is located on 4th floor within the 4th floor storage room.)  All residents with vehicles/motorcycles are assigned a designated parking space along with a parking permit. We do not have garages or covered parking (except for 10 parking spaces that are located under our circle ramp) and our assigned parking spaces wrap around the outside of the building. Our location is also conveniently located with easy access to fine medical facilities, pharmacies, restaurants and shopping. There are a variety of transportation options from your own car to taxi service, city bus and special shuttles offered by local organizations that will pick you up right at the front door on our second floor circle ramp.  If you would like to know more about all of the amenities that we offer then please refer to the "Related Documents" below and view the Mason Manor Brochure.

Please know that we do have a waitlist to get into Mason Manor. Per our policy, we will serve Brown County applicants before non- Brown County applicants. Our current waiting period is about a 1-2 year wait for Brown County applicants and non-Brown County applicants. We DO NOT have or offer any emergency/urgent housing assistance! If you have any questions about Mason Manor then please call our Resident Services Coordinator Ka Vang at (920) 492-3792 or via email at ka.vang@greenbaywi.gov.

Also please know that Mason Manor has a Designation Policy with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) where the Green Bay Housing Authority is required to keep the building’s population with 85% elderly/disabled individuals only and 15% general occupancy (single individuals who are not elderly/disabled).  This policy may affect the waiting period for our Mason Manor wait list.
