The City of Green Bay issues licenses for animal establishments, breeders, bees, chickens (hens), dog and cats in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Green Bay Municipal Code.
The Clerk’s Office in collaboration with participating vets manage the spay/neuter program, which allows a free spay/neuter service to income eligible residents.
The Animal Establishment License completed application and fee of $100.00 must be filed yearly with the City Clerk.
City ordinance requires all cats and dogs five months of age or older to be licensed on a yearly basis.
